People need to stop trying to stir up such anti-lj crap. From what I can tell, lj is a lot smoother and less problematic and isn't falling apart with issues like comment rot, etc, the way this site is.
I'm actually *GASP!* happy at lj. Yeah, I've had to put up with some trolls in my fanfic journal, but I like it there. I wish I'd made the move to there from gj a long time ago, honestly. I spent more than three years putting up with all the childish teenieboppers and their sandbox bullshit on gj and dammit, I WANT THOSE YEARS BACK.
And now that I've moved my rp stuff to message boards, I'm WAY happier. No more little teenies throwing temper tantrums that I'm playing their favorite celeb! No more negativity and bullshit like the bashing comms! No more having to put up with people trying to fuck up my storylines because they get a kick out of ruining other people's fun!
Of course, I still post here on ij in my personal journal. And I still write for the couple of fanfic comms I'm in. But that's it. I won't be joining any other comms, and probably not writing anything in my journal other than little things. I'm a lot happier with how things are going at lj -- and hey, that site doesn't have comment rot, either!
Getting out of rp on the teenie-infested journal sites has been the best thing I ever did. I feel like I can breathe again.

I'm seriously starting to regret ever posting my Ianto/Doctor fic anywhere. After the first few I wrote, nobody's bothered to say anything in comments about it.
Why the hell should I bother writing for people if they can't be bothered to give me any kind of feedback? Fuck it.
Man, it fucking SUCKS to feel like your writing isn't appreciated. I'm feeling like I shouldn't bother putting it anywhere other than in our own little f-locked comm now.
Meh. I guess I'll give it a few more days, but this is getting really fucking discouraging. It's NOT THAT FUCKING HARD to leave a little bit of a comment to give a writer some feedback, people!
